Outside the radio, I'd say the opposite actually; Music is getting more diverse and more interesting than ever. There's this cool alternative radio I listen to a lot. One time I found they're playing a song with like a few thousand streams online.

I do agree that industry mainstays like radio, charts, and labels can be very stagnant and boring, and I do agree with a lot of your criticisms. But I don't think it's a unique phenomena exclusive in the 2020s though
